Last year Ohio joined the ranks of many U.S. states committed
to the use of alternative and cleaner sources of energy. The Legislature approved Senate Bill 221, calling for the enactment
of an Ohio Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) mandating an increase in the use of such energy sources as wind and solar. Founded
on the heels of this Ohio State victory, The Energy Junction is perfectly poised to become a renewable energy leader in the
State of Ohio…helping individuals and businesses achieve energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.

In November 2007 Cynthia Bailey found herself unemployed. She embraced her free time to explore a dormant passion ... Saving Mother Earth!
After several months of intense research and attending critical industry
conferences and speaking with renewable
energy experts, Cynthia decided to blend her marketing expertise, and love of nature and the environment, with her lifelong dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

Cynthia realized her newfound knowledge could be combined with her twenty years of successful
marketing experience. During her career Cynthia acquired strong
leadership skills, an astute ability to communicate
and fine-tuned her strengths as a motivator.
Knowing that she belonged in the dynamic field of sustainability and renewable
energy, Cynthia decided to become an eco-entrepreneur by launching The Energy Junction
in Cuyahoga Falls. Ohio. It is Cynthia's vision that The
Energy Junction will serve as a Renewable Energy Hub to create and inspire a clean energy future.
The company will serve as a Renewable Energy Opportunity Broker to the Cuyahoga Falls community and the State of Ohio.
